Whether you're a builder, carpenter, electrician, or gardener your business and livelihood depends on your tools.

Replacing tools is expensive and could mean having to turn away vital business while you're without them. To minimise any disruption and help prevent you from being out of pocket, Churchill Expert can arrange up to £10,000 of Tools and Business Equipment cover per employee when you take out Public Liability Insurance.

This will cover:

• You and your employees if you're UK residents and are working anywhere in the EU in connection to your business. 
• Portable tools and business equipment including mobile phones and laptops. 
• The above equipment belonging to you or any of your directors, partners, employees for which they are responsible but not if any of these items are insured elsewhere.
• Damage to your tools or business equipment caused by fire, lightning, explosion, earthquake, aircraft or other aerial devices or articles dropped therefrom, riot, civil commotion, strikers, locked-out workers, persons taking part in labour disturbances, malicious persons other than thieves, storm, flood, escape of water or oil from any tank apparatus or pipe, sprinkler leakage, theft or impact by any road vehicle or animal.

This cover excludes Tools and Business Equipment hired out and theft or attempted theft from any unattended vehicle unless securely locked at all points of access or in a securely locked building between 9am and 6pm.
