Professional Indemnity Cover
Professional Indemnity covers the compensation and legal fees your business may be required to pay if a client accuses you of providing inadequate advice, services or design and makes a claim against you/your business. Cover is on the basis that you are covered for claims made against you during the policy period, even if the event that caused the claim happened before the start date of the policy, subject to a retroactive date (the first date you would have taken out Professional Indemnity Cover). Claims should be submitted in a timely manner, within 28 days of you becoming aware of any (possible) claim against you, and within 7 days of the renewal date, if you renew with us.
