Business Contents & Stock Cover

If your business contents and stock are lost, damaged or stolen, not only are you left with the expense of replacing your items but you also run the risk of delaying work or turning away customers in the time you go without your essential equipment. 

Churchill Expert can arrange cover through NIG who will insure up to £1m of trade and business contents as standard. This will cover you when it comes to fixing or replacing your items following an unforseen event including fire, explosion, lightning, earthquake, riot, malicious damage or vandalism, theft, storm, escape of water, flood, leakage of beverages or subsidence. 

In these events, you'll be covered for the trade contents for which you are responsible such as stock in trade, cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, DVDS or videotapes, wine and spirits and business contents for which you are responsible for including trade fixtures and fittings, plant machinery, office equipment and telephone installations. This also covers clothing, personal effects and pedal cycles belonging to you or your employees for which you are responsible for. You'll have the option to extend your cover for accidental damage to business contents and stock for an additional premium. 

Most importantly, in the event that money is lost or stolen in transit, from a bank night safe or from your workplace, own home or that of your partners, directors and employees, we'll cover up to £5000 as standard.
